In the latest episode of the Splice the Main Brace Podcast, we break down the recent dismasting of SV GONE AWAY, Harvey Morgan’s 1972 Allied Princess 36 Ketch during the inaugural Bob James Memorial Mobjack Bay Regatta. This cross pod was first aired on Jeffrey Wettig’s Shooting the Breeze Sailing Podcast. We start out with an introduction with a very special guest, Scott’s wife Yelisaveta, who was onboard during the regatta. Thankfully everyone on the boat was/is ok. The boat is currently undergoing repairs and just recently completed a transit (under motor of course) up the Chesapeake Bay from the Severn River to Queens Creek.

Thanks once again to The Tidewinders for allowing the use of their song Down to Caroline, written by Chris Smith, as our new intro song! And, as always, thanks to Craig Bickhardt for the use of his song Chesapeake Bay for the outro song!
